New finds

One thing that being laid up with a cold brings is time - time to spend doing things I wouldn't normally do, like spend an inordinate amount of time browsing Pinterest, and blogs, and anything else that takes my fancy. I found a new (to me) blog today by a fellow Aussie, who holds a 'Say G'Day Saturday' linky party each week -

Have you been crafting, baking, planning, making, singing or gardening this week? Have you posted any great tutorials or Instagram pictures? Perhaps you have posted a great Pinterest round up post that you would love to share.
I would love it if you could share your favourite post with me at my weekly Linky Party!

Love it! I love finding new blogs, new ideas, new everything, so this is right up my alley. I'm posting a new recipe I made today - often when I'm sick, I don't feel like eating, so I was quite surprised this afternoon when I had a sudden craving for a carbonara of some sort. I got out my much-loved copy of Stepahnie Alexander's Kitchen Garden Companion, and found a recipe for Broccoli Carbonara. It was so quick and easy, and oh so yuuummmmm (terrible pic, I know).

I even found the recipe already posted by a blogger online, you can find it here (another new blogging find!).

Natasha also invites us to share any music posted on our blog for her #SundaySong link party.

One of my favourite, on-repeat singers at the moment is Brooke Fraser, a girl with an amazing voice. She has sung worship songs with Hillsong, and has her own solo commercial success. So may I present a favourite from each genre for your listening pleasure.

Looking forward to whatever treasure I might discover with Natasha's link love!!

  1. I love her voice. I just sang Desert Song a few weeks ago at church. She is amazing!
